Dear Residents:

First, we would like to report that trash service has been canceled for Monday, January 26th.  Our contractors at Capitol plan to resume trash pick-up on Tuesday, January 27th. If anything changes, I will provide an update. This mean that no trash should be placed out until Tuesday morning. When you do place your trash out, please make sure it is properly secured.

Please be advised that snow continues to accumulate and removal crews have reported that they are onsite and have begun clearing the lots and sidewalks.

The first plowing will focus primarily on clearing entrances, exits and a single travel lane for residents and emergency vehicles. Plowing will be repeated during the storm as necessary in an effort to maintain reasonable access.

A final plowing will be completed at the end of the storm to widen drive lanes where possible.  Although effort is made to avoid leaving snow ridges behind parked cars, a certain amount of snow will be left behind parked cars. This depends on the total snow accumulation that is being plowed and the layout of the drive lanes and parking bays.

Residents shoveling snow from their parking spaces and sidewalks should not place the snow in the drive lanes.  Doing so will result in frozen mounds that cannot be plowed and could increase the problem of icing in the roadway.

The current forecast includes sleet/freezing rain to follow the snow, and a period of icy conditions is expected.  We will be monitoring conditions and will determine when post treatment of drive lanes and sidewalks will occur.

Your safety is of upmost importance. Any issues or concerns should be directed to Management by emailing amy.steliga@cardinalmanagementgroup.com.

We thank you for your patience as we work to get the community cleared.

Warm Regards,

Management and Board of Directors
