Dear Residents:
Crews have wrapped up day three of snow removal in the Glen. I am happy to report that as of this evening, our contractor has reported that all walkways and sidewalks inside the courts have been shoveled and treated. They also have addressed the lots to the extent of safe access and exit.
The main priority was accessibility – opening street and entrances to allow access for cars to reach outside roads and opening sidewalks for passage.
We are aware that the results of this endeavor are not perfect, but are functional, and with the freezing temperatures we have reached maximum potential until we start to see temperatures rise.
The contractor has finished for this week, but any missed access points or major obstructions should be reported to management, and we will reach out to them for a return visit.
Maintenance staff is onsite this week working to clean less priority areas and assist residents where they can. Please keep in mind that they are limited due to freezing conditions, so please be mindful that areas may not be clear to the extent we have seen in the past.
Unclear parking spaces and minor difficulty getting in and out of your individual parking spaces is to be expected until temperatures begin to melt some of this down. We will begin to assess the interior Glen Sidewalks and County sidewalks once the freeze has passed.
Sanding services will continue tomorrow as roads begin to clear up.
Your safety is of upmost importance. There have also been reports of ice coming off the roofs, therefore residents must take extreme caution when entering and exiting the units.
Stay safe and warm,
Management and Board of Directors
