Due to dangerously cold temperatures the crews will be retreating for the evening, but will be back tomorrow to continue to clear the Glen’s lots, sidewalks and walks.
Following significant snow accumulation and several hours of sleet and freezing rain, crews have worked to at least open one to two passes on the lots. We are aware that most lots, sidewalks and walkways require much more extensive work.
Roads outside of communities are experiencing similar conditions and we strongly encourage limiting travel unless it is for an emergency.
Crews will be dispatched again tomorrow morning to resume operations. Tomorrow, we can expect front-end loaders will begin moving icy mounds and heavy snow/ice piles that plows are unable to handle. This process will be ongoing over the coming days. Cleanup of sidewalks and drive lanes will remain a slow and difficult process.
Residents can assist by ensuring snow and ice from parking spaces is not piled in drive lanes or on sidewalks.
We thank you for your continued patience as we work with our contractors to get everything addressed.
Stay safe and warm,
Management and Board of Directors
